 4 fossil specimens of Sinosauropteryx prima
have ever been found at Sihetun, China.


 At this Exhibition, there are two specimens of Sinosauropteryx.

  One is Nanjing Specimen (juvenile, image at left. No.127586 ) .

 Sinosauropteryx has 10 cervical vertebrae, 13 dorsal vertebrae, 4(?) sacral vertebrae and a flexible tail with 59 vertebrae, this is the longest tail of any known theropod.

 Another specimen(image at right. No.127587) was found with a lizard in its gut.

 And this has a pair of oval mounds, possibly tiny eggs inside it.

 

 Sinosauropteryx has serrated maxillary teeth (close-up image at left) but premaxillary teeth are unserrated.
