ブラジルにある三畳紀後期（Norian）の地層（Caturrita Formation）で発見された基盤的竜脚形類が報告されています。
1950年代に発見された断片的な化石で、新種として記載されたわけではないようです。腸骨などの特徴は、 Plateosaurus や Riojasaurus に類似しているとされています。
